There are a few hobby things (the technical term, I’m sure) I’m working on at the moment and some things I’m waiting on Amazon to deliver from my most recent order.
So, firstly, I’ve ordered a 5D diamond painting set to have a go at. These are printed images with a sticky surface that you attach crystals onto in defined places. Basically paint by numbers with sparkles. I don’t know where the fifth dimension comes into it (if I find out I’ll be sure to let you know!) But I bought one for my mum as a stocking filler and it looked so relaxing so I’m going to give it a go.
My husband also bought me Mark Kistler’s You Can Draw in 30 Days: The Fun, Easy Way To Learn To Draw In One Month Or Less: The Fun, Easy Way to Master Drawing, from Figures to Landscapes, in One Month or Less for Christmas and I’ve been working my way through that fatefully. I’m going to wait until I’ve finished the full book to review it but already I’ve learned a lot of things I never thought I would be able to do. Below are my lesson 1 and lesson 14 pictures. Whilst I’m hardly an artist now, my drawing has already progressed from something my two year old would laugh at
I also haveOfficial Pokémon Creative Colouring pokemon colouring book ordered which is coming today. I really like the look of the pictures so hope the paper quality is good enough! My review of this book is now here Pokemon Official Creative Colouring Book Review
So that’s what I have to look forward to this week! Leave me a comment and let me know what hobby products you’re excited about or used to get into the hobby!
